The validation test that is performed is the spore testing. This will indicate if your steriliser has the ability to destroys spores within the chamber. This process takes approximately 72 hours from the time the spores reach the lab for testing. The cost for this is typically $1000 or more per steriliser, depending on where you are located.
Door seals and general maintenance is not required for routine validation. General maintenance of your steriliser is only required when something goes wrong with the steriliser.
